Forest – The Need For Conservation and Expansion

Our lives largely depend on the forest resources. Therefore, the need for forest conservation is of great importance today. Due to widespread growth of cities, it is observed that forest is being targeted as a land for prosperity. However, the case truly is of deforestation. If humanity follows the same style of clearing forest areas, it will soon see a climax and nature to balance itself will create imbalance in human life.

The threat:
It is observed that about one and a half acre of land is lost every second. Now that is a serious threat to the forest life. This loss is due to human expansion in areas such as industrial growth and mineral extraction. Forest land is rich in many aspects, and man is trying to use all the resources for his benefit, not knowing that a part of ecological system is being lost every second.

Growing trees is our moral responsibility. If you see barren land, you will understand the need for trees and gardens. Trees and plants add great value to human life and contribute to the growth of a perfect system. Wherever trees are found in abundance, you will see natural balance there. Therefore, to maintain a natural balance, you must take responsibility to grow trees wherever possible.

Forest is of various kinds such as tropical, rain forest, temperate and boreal zones, etc. All the types of forests play a role in maintaining a form of balance in the earth and losing such a land for human expansion might prove costly in the years to come. If you do not take conscious efforts to grow our forest land, time is not far, when ecological imbalance will lead to chaos, and mankind will be responsible for the same. Let’s make a conscious effort to bring about a change in forest growth and save the future of the earth.
