Forest – The Need For Conservation and Expansion

Our lives largely depend on the forest resources. Therefore, the need for forest conservation is of great importance today. Due to widespread growth of cities, it is observed that forest is being targeted as a land for prosperity. However, the case truly is of deforestation. If humanity follows the same style of clearing forest areas, it will soon see a climax and nature to balance itself will create imbalance in human life.

The threat:
It is observed that about one and a half acre of land is lost every second. Now that is a serious threat to the forest life. This loss is due to human expansion in areas such as industrial growth and mineral extraction. Forest land is rich in many aspects, and man is trying to use all the resources for his benefit, not knowing that a part of ecological system is being lost every second.

Growing trees is our moral responsibility. If you see barren land, you will understand the need for trees and gardens. Trees and plants add great value to human life and contribute to the growth of a perfect system. Wherever trees are found in abundance, you will see natural balance there. Therefore, to maintain a natural balance, you must take responsibility to grow trees wherever possible.

Forest is of various kinds such as tropical, rain forest, temperate and boreal zones, etc. All the types of forests play a role in maintaining a form of balance in the earth and losing such a land for human expansion might prove costly in the years to come. If you do not take conscious efforts to grow our forest land, time is not far, when ecological imbalance will lead to chaos, and mankind will be responsible for the same. Let’s make a conscious effort to bring about a change in forest growth and save the future of the earth.

Fast Food Effect On Health And Its Increasing craze On People

Shervin hessamfar Fast Food Blog

Fast food is most easily available at every street and corner of our city. As we all know, it is most convenient form of food, you get to eat stomach full for cheap price and the taste tingle your taste bud as well.  What we forget while eating fast food is that the taste will go away soon but its effect on our body will last long. The convenience of fast comes with its own price as it makes our body vulnerable to diseases.

The effect of fast food on our body has always been talked about, but it is more serious than people think it is. Regular consumption of fast food will open the body for illness like, obesity, high cholesterol, headache, acne, high blood pressure, breathing problem, bloated stomach, depression, dental problem, diabetes, extra calories, insulin resistance, etc. These are deadly sickness which captures human body after being exposed to fast food. It also weakens the bones and muscles internally.

The reason fast food spread so many disease is because it contain equivalent to zero nutrition and instead loaded with unhealthy fat, sugar, calories, carbohydrate, sodium, preservatives and processed food. These elements don’t digest easily, instead they stick to stomach wall and create clutter, and eventually it jams the digestive system which causes indigestion. Indigestion affects our metabolism system, slow metabolism cause bloated stomach and the chain of disease starts.

In this modern era, fast food is commonly mistaken as a cheap substitute of healthy food, which is a myth. Fast food may come across as cheap form of food initially but regular consumption of junk is way expensive than healthy food. Study shows that a week supply of healthy food (meal three times a day) is way cheaper than a week of eating fast food. The only reason we end up eating fast food is because it is convenient. Today children are getting more and more attracted to fast food and developing obesity and unhealthy lifestyle, as a result at early age children have poor sight and low brain development.

No matter how effort it takes to cook healthy food, it is worth it because it keeps us healthy, active, and develops our brain. We shouldn’t fall prey to diseases in the name of convenience.

Increase Problem of Obesity in USA

Shervin hessamfar, shervin-hessamfar, shervinhessamfar, shervin,hessamfar

What Is Obesity?

The definition of obesity depends from people to people. Obesity apparently is a condition that is associated with having excess body fat. Both overweight and obesity are categories of weight that are greater that what it is supposed to be for a given height. Researchers also define obesity as excess adipose tissue, determined by using weight and height to calculate the ‘Body Mass Index’ (BMI). The BMI is carried out because for nearly everyone it correlates with their amount of body fat. The BMI equals an individual’s weight in kilograms divided by their height in meters squared. Research reports have mentioned that an average adult who has a BMI of 25-29.9 is measured overweight, while an adult who has a BMI above 30 is considered obese.

Obesity has entered epidemic proportions in the United States. Almost two-thirds of adults are slated to be overweight or obese, and one out of three Americans is obese. In addition to that, Obesity seems to be quite prevalent in children in the US. It is increasing markedly at a quick pace, having doubled in adults and children. Obesity in the United States has been cited as a major health issue on different decades. While many industrialized countries have experienced similar increases, obesity rates in the United States are among the highest in the world. Obesity is regarded as a leading health problem in the US.

In the early 21st century, the highest percentages of obese cases in the world were found in the United States. People witnessed over 120,000 preventable deaths every year in the US. Average medical expenses incurred by an obese would cost around $1,497. Besides that, more than $190 billion is invested in the added medical budget every year within the United States. Obesity is a preventable condition that has been increasing dramatically within the United States. Health authorities are taking proactive steps to treat obese patients. According to new guidelines released by the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology and The Obesity Society in 2013, doctors should consider obesity a disease and more actively treat obese patients for weight loss.

It is very important for healthcare specialists to find out who would benefit from weight loss. They can simply calculate their patient’s BMI every year to know their overall fat percentage. Once the figures are known they can eventually provide solutions. Patients can participate in a medically supervised weight loss program in case found overweight. Healthcare specialists should consider weight-loss surgery for severely obese patients who have one or more obesity-related health problem. The best strategy to lose weight and stay fit requires three-pronged approach - Eat fewer calories than the body needs, Exercise more and Change unhealthy behavior.
